Meet Our Special Family

One of the truly amazing things about our organization is the fact that we are not only a veteren riders organization that gets to get together and have fun doing what we love (riding) but we also have a mission to support our military and their families. We have had the good fortune to meet many of our troops and have been overwhelmed at times by the inspiration that these families show while enduring the hardships they endure to serve their country proudly and put themselves in harms way and never ask for anything in return for their sacrifices

This year we had the good fortune to adopt a family that has endured these hardships and continue to struggle on the long road to recovery. Spc Rodney Price was injured in in Iraq when his CP was attacked by mortar fire and sustained many injuries as a result of that attack. After many months in the hostpital he was finally able to come home to his family but is still recovering from his injuries. Rodney has a wife (Tracy) and 3 children (Talor, Carley, and Conner) that have also sacrificed much as military families do and continue to persevere through all of the challenges they face as a result of Rodny's injuries.
